M.Sc Physics In JNU Delhi
I have completed by B.Sc in Physics and planned to join the M.Sc in Physics from JNU located in Delhi. Can you please tell me the eligibility criteria to take admission in the JNU Delhi for the M.Sc in Physics also provides me the fee structure for this course?

As you want to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi to do MSc Physics so here I am telling require info : Admission criteria : Bachelor's degree (with Physics as one of the subjects) under 10+2+3 pattern of education with 55% marks in the aggregate (or in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined). Admission Notification is generally released during January / February every year. Applications are issued starting February Last date for receipt of completed application forms will be at the end of March. Mode of Admission Admission through Entrance Examination Syllabus : Mathematical Physics PS 411 1. Matrices Linear vector spaces, matrix spaces, linear operators, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, matrix diagonalization, special matrices. 2. Group Theory Symmetries and groups, multiplication table and representations, permutation group, translation and rotation groups, O(N) and U(N) groups. 3. Complex Analysis Analytic functions, Cauchy-Riemann conditions, classification of singularities, Cauchy's theorem, Taylor and Laurent expansions, analytic continuation, residue theorem, evaluation of definite integrals, summation of series, gamma function, zeta function, method of steepest descent. 4. Ordinary Differential Equations and Special Functions Linear ordinary differential equations and their singularities, series solution of second- order equations, hypergeometric and Bessel functions, classical polynomials, Sturm- Liouville problem, expansion in orthogonal functions.
