North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) was established in 1983 by the Government of India.

It is one of the best Deemed University in India, fully controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Government of India.

It provides various academic programmes in Engineering and Technology field.

Eligibility for M.Tech:

Candidates must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 3.25 in 5.00 point scale for general category with valid GATE score in respective Bachelor Programme.

5% marks will be relaxed to SC/ST/PWD candidates
