I am studying in Final Year of MA Economics at Panjab University Chandigarh. I want to contact to the registrar office for the reason of late declaring result of 1st year MA Economics. Is the any process to get appointment to meet the registrar? Should I write any application form for registrar office of Panjab University Chandigarh?

After the partition of the nation, the educating of Economics in this University was focused in Government College, Hoshiarpur under the direction of Professor K Dewett. he area of the division was moved to the Chandigarh Campus in 1958 and it keeps on being a main focal point of educating, research and learning of financial aspects in the locale.

Jawahar Lal Nehru Chair: Panjab University alumnus, Dr. Manmohan Singh (former Prime Minister of India) who taught in the Department of Economics, has been nominated as Chair Professor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Chair.

Dr. Manmohan Singh Chair: Prof. Yoginder K Alagh (noted Economist and the Chancellor of the Central University of Gujarat) has been nominated as Chair Professor of Dr. Manmohan Singh Chair.

M.A. Economics - Stands for Master of Arts in Economics. M.A. is a two year postgraduate degree, qualification for which is a college degree in any discipline. Economics is the review and investigation of creation, appropriation and utilization of merchandise and ventures. Subjects ordinarily concentrated under this degree are Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, International Trade and Finance, Agricultural Economics, Social Economics, Public Economics, Indian Economic Policy, Marketing Management and so on.
