Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is a university in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was hived off the Madurai Kamaraj University on September 7, 1990

DCE approved Courses –

DD & CE, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University offers courses in Science (B.Sc & M.Sc), Arts (B.A & M.A), Commerce (B.Com & M.Com) and Professional (B.ed, B.Lit, BBA, BCA, B.Li.Sc, MCA, B.Li.Sc and PGDCA) through distance learning. B.Ed Programme through Distance Education is approved by Distance Education Council, Ref.No. DEC/TSU/TN/2006/9763 dated 02.07.2008. Eligibility for B.ed is UG or PG Teachers serving in recognized schools in Tamil Nadu with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
