The National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (otherwise called NIT Uttarakhand or NITUK) is an open designing establishment in the Indian condition of Uttarakhand. It was established in 2010, as one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India, and is perceived as an Institute of National Importance. It conceded its first group of understudies in 2010-11

Brief Campus is situated in Govt. Polytechnic, Srinagar Garhwal (Distt. Pauri Garhwal). Srinagar Garhwal is 105 km from Rishikes on National Highway No. 58 prompting Badrinath (193 km from Srinagar). Rishikes is the closest Railway Station. Haridwar, a noteworthy Railway Station in Uttarakhand is 130 km from Srinagar. Closest Airport at Jolly Grant, Dehradun is 125 km far from Srinagar.

NITUK has made an extremely fast development in the current past regarding beginning new scholarly projects, amendment of scholastic educational programs, improvement of research centers and foundation. The under-graduate projects have been made credits based and an extensive number of electives are offered to the understudies. At present, NITUK has personnel quality of 50.

Undergrad Admissions

Since 2013, the Bachelor of Technology affirmations for Indian understudies were taken through JEE Main The B. Tech confirmations for remote understudies are done through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme.

Postgraduate Admissions

For admissions to M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. programs, one needs to qualify GATE exam and then needs to experience CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Affirmations).
