AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is the national level entrance examination conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to the postgraduate management programmes like MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCM, MCA, etc. ATMA Important dates 2017- ATMA February 2017 Registration Started 23rd December 2016 Start of Distribution of ATMA Bulletins 2nd January 2017 Close of Distribution of ATMA Bulletins 31st January 2017 Date of Closure of Registration 2nd February 2017 Last date for Reprint of filled-in Application Form 6th February 2017 Admit Card Issued 8th February 2017 Date of Exam 12th February 2017 (Pen Paper Based) (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) Result Declaration Around 20th February 2017 ATMA May 2017 Date of Exam 28th May 2017 (Online Test) Result Declaration After 5 days of examination ATMA July 2017 Date of Exam 16th July 2017 (Online Test) Result Declaration After 5 days of examination ATMA Exam Eligibility Criteria Graduation degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. The candidates who are in final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply. The minimum age criteria required for applying is 21 years. ATMA Exam Pattern The question paper contains 180 questions breakup in the six sections. The total time allotted for the exam is 3 hours. The paper based test may be attempted serial-wise but for online test there is no such requirement. The question paper type of the exam will be MCQ having four alternatives. Sections No. of Questions Time allotted Analytical Reasoning Skills 30 30 min. Verbal Skills 30 30 min. Quantitative Skills 30 30 min. Verbal Skills 30 30 min. Analytical Reasoning Skills 30 30 min. Quantitative Skills 30 30 min. Total 180 180 There are three sections viz. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, and each section is repeated twice. The time alloted to each section is 30 minutes. Each correct answer contains one mark. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be subtracted. No marks will be deducted for the question left un-attempted. |
