Can you provide me the admission process and Tuition & Fees in MBA or Master of Business Administration program in CLU or California Lutheran University?

The MBA degree offered by California Lutheran University requires 45 semester credits equivalent to 15 courses of work which must be completed within a seven-year period (8 required, 2 emphasis, 4 elective courses and 1 capstone course).

Additional course work may be required for one whose academic records reflect the need for preparation in the areas of accounting, economics and/or statistics.

The requirement for it preparation is determined during the admission interview.

Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database application is expected.

Admission Process

1. A completed application and non-refundable application fee
2. Interview with an admission counselor
3. Official transcripts showing bachelor degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. Normally, a grade point average of approximately 3.0 or higher in upper division undergraduate work is expected.
4. 2 professional letters of recommendation
5. Personal statement
6. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores must be provided. The test may be waived for candidates who present an official transcript of previous college work from a regionally accredited college or university reflecting any one of the following criteria:

a. an undergraduate, upper division grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; or
b. a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent 60 credits of study consisting of any of the following: graduate course work, upper division post baccalaureate course work (exclusive of extension or continuing education work), and upper division undergraduate course work; or
c. a minimum of nine credits of graduate course work completed and a 3.50 grade point average; or
d. a previously earned master's degree

Tuition & Fees

Fall 2016 - Summer 2017

Tuition $800 per unit
$36,000 base cost

Technology Fee $50 per term
$250 maximum per academic year

Application Fee $25 online
$50 paper

Audit Fee: One half the tuition listed above

Late Registration Fee: $50 for registration submitted after the add/drop deadline

Late Transaction Fee: $50 for employer reimbursement applications received after the second week of the semester

Transcript Fee: $5.00 minimum
