The MBA in Food and Wine is focused on the exclusive knowledge of the most successful Italian enterprises in the gastronomy and enology sector.

This program will help students to develop their managerial skills, focusing on the expanding food & beverage sector.

Participants will have the chance to learn what has made the Italian agribusiness the excellence that the world envies us, directly from the experience of entrepreneurs, managers, top-star chefs, opinion leaders working in food and beverage.

Structure

The Master’s degree is a 12-month full-time program including 518 hours of class activities, 1300 hours of individual and group work and a 500 hour internship.

The academic part is divided into three terms. During the first term one studies the fundamentals of general management, while the second and third term deals with the specific subjects of each track.

I Term: September 2016 – December 2016
• “Ice-breaking” Week
• General Management Courses: Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy, Financial and Managerial Accounting, International Finance, Marketing Management, Cross-cultural Management, Organizational Analysis: Leading People and Organizations, Team Working.
II Term – III Term: January 2017 – May 2017
• Management and Track Specific Courses: Production and Logistics, Food and Wine Cultures, Food and Wine Distribution and Retail, Innovation and Narration in Food and Wine, Management and Creativity in the Restaurant Industry, Business Development Laboratory, International Business Law, Management Consulting, Business Planning.
