In Queensland, home warranty insurance is only available from the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).

Licensed builders should consider home or builders warranty insurance for residential building work.

They can provide a range of home warranty insurance or domestic building insurance products for many states in Australia, all of which comply with the statutory requirements in each state.

They have specifically designed our processes to make your home warranty insurance purchase as quick and easy as possible.

Home warranty insurance is required for most residential building work valued over $20,000 (it doesn’t apply for new buildings over three storeys that contain two or more dwellings).

For project certificates issued up to 31 March 2017, please add an additional $82.50 administration fee for each certificate issued.

For project certificates issued from 3 April 2017 onwards, the administration fee is automatically included in the Premium Calculators.

If the project is a multi-unit project or is a project with a contract value greater than $750,000, please refer to Master Builders Queensland Insurance Services to obtain terms and conditions

Payment by Visa and MasterCard are accepted. A credit card surcharge of 0.73% for Visa and 0.77% for MasterCard shall apply to the total amount of the payment due.
