The College of Business Administration at Savannah State University (SSU) is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, the premier accrediting agency for undergraduate and graduate programs in business. Admission Requirements To be considered for admission one must have BA/BS degree from an accredited institution and submit a completed application to the Office of Academic Affairs. Only completed applications will be reviewed by the MBA Committee. A completed application consists of the following: 1. Graduate Application for Admission Graduate Application 2. Graduate Management Admission (GMAT ) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score OR successful completion of the Pre-MBA Program 3. Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts 4. A 500-1000 word statement of purpose 5. Three letters of recommendations Recommendation Form 6. Immunization certificate 7. Current resume highlighting professional and personal accomplishments as well as linguistic abilities, computer expertise, and leadership experience 8. $25 application fee 9. TOEFL test score - For students whom English is not a native language Pre-MBA The Pre-MBA program is for students who do not have either the GMAT or GRE score. The Pre-MBA exposes students to extensive training on quantitative analysis, critical thinking, and reasoning. One who completes the Pre-MBA program is granted regular admission to the MBA program. To be admitted to the Pre-MBA Program, one must have a baccalaureate degree in any discipline from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.50. Master of Business Administration Curriculum The MBA Program offers evening courses and requires the completion of 30 semester hours (10 courses) of graduate course work.
