Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology SLIIT is a semi-government university in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1999. SLIIT is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and International Association of Universities. The university was established by the government of Sri Lanka.

The Institute does not offer MBA program. It offers the following Master degree courses.

Master degree Courses-

MSC in Information Technology

The MSc in Information Technology is a two year programme specially designed for graduates in Information Technology / Computer Science and Computer Engineering fields.

Entry Requirements-

Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or any other degree in a relevant field
OR
The Membership of a recognized professional Institute in a relevant field as approved by SLIIT, with relevant experience

MSC in Information Systems

This MSc program focuses on high-tech innovations in the field of IT and their successful integration to business.

Entry Requirements-

Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or any other degree in a relevant field
OR
The Membership of a recognized professional institute in a relevant field as approved by SLIIT with relevant experience, where necessary.

MSC in Information Managements

This programme is specially designed for graduates and members of professional bodies with managerial experience.

Entry Requirements-

Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognized University
OR
The Membership of recognized Professional Institute, and at least 3 year’s post – qualifying experience at management level.

MSC in Information Technology / Information System / Information Management

Duration : 2 years (weekends only).

Commence : January / July

Total courses : 12 and a Research Project

Selection Criteria :

Selection of candidates will be based on the performance of the selection test / interview and on recommendations.
