MCQ Test for AIPMT

Can you tell me if All India Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT), now replaced with NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test), question paper has MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)?

NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is a national level entrance test. It is organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

This exam is an opportunity for those students seeking for admission in MBBS and BDS courses provided by top medical colleges or universities of the country.

NEET Exam Pattern

Courses: It is held for MBBS/BDS courses.

Number of Questions: The question paper will contain total 180 multiple choice questions with single correct answer.

Subjects: The paper will be asked from subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

Language: The question paper will be available in 10 languages.

Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).

Duration: The exam duration will of 3 hours.

Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer as negative marking.

NEET Marking Scheme

• The question paper will bear total 720 maximum marks.

• Each question will contain four marks. Total four marks will be given for each correct answer.

• There will be negative marking in this examination; one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

• One needs to use only blue/black ball point pen to mark their answers.

• One must keep in mind that multiple answers for one question will lead to the negative marking.

NEET Syllabus

• NEET syllabus will comprise of four subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

• Questions will be asked from the above mentioned subjects.

• It will contain 11th & 12th board (CBSE & NCERT) academic syllabus.

• Some questions will be asked from the other board’s syllabus.
