The Maharshi Dayanand University was established by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. The Degree of Doctor of Philosophy may be awarded in any faculty of the University. Subject to the general guidance of the Academic Council, research studies in the University leading to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy shall be organized by the various Post Graduate Boards of Studies. Eligibility: Candidates must have Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate in the subject concerned or in an allied subject (50% for SC/ST candidates). Last year PHD result: S.NO.
