Duration : 2 year


Curriculum Design

(i) There will be NINE theory courses ( Five in 1st year and Four in 2ndyear.)
(ii) Engagement with the Field/Practicum

Pedagogy and Innovation
Research and Extension

(iii) Fieldwork in School
Fieldwork in School would be a part of the broad area of ‘Engagement with
the Field’.Students will be actively engaged at supervising 10 (Ten) lesson plans in FIRST year and 20 (Twenty) in SECOND year of B.Ed. trainees.
(iv) Viva–Voce
(a) Based on Sessional work (in First year) – 80 marks (60 marks external& 20 marks internal evaluation)
(b) Based on Dissertation (in Second Year)- 60 marks (50 marks external & 10marks internal)
(v) Dissertation (Compulsory in Second Year) – 100 marks (80 marks for external
and 20 marks for internal evaluation)


Eligibility Criteria : The candidate who has obtained at least 55% marks in the B.Ed. degree will be eligible to this course. In case of SC/ST candidates, the basic eligibility would be as per university/Govt. policies. There shall be reservation of seats as per the rules of the State / Central Government as the case may be.
