What are the Merchant Navy medical eligibility criteria??? Also provide me basic information regrinding to this…………..

To join the merchant Navy, you need to fulfill following requirements:

Eligibility:
12th pass students can apply for the diploma courses in mainly two specialized fields, Nautical (Deck) and Marine engineering

Age Limit:
The age should be in between 16-25 Years

Physical requirements:
Eye-Sight:
6/6 without glasses, No color Blindness






Your minimum Height should be 5 feet and 7 inches.
Your minimum chest should be 33 inches when unexpanded.
Your chest should be 34.5 inches when expanded.

After meeting these physical requirements you will have to get pass in Physical Entrance Test.This test will include various activities:
800 meters of race and it should be completed in 5 minutes.
Long Jump of 3.5 meters.
High Jump of minimum 10 meters.
