MGIMS PMT Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Pre Medical Test, Wardha is a all India level exam hosted by Kasturba Health Society

This exam is to get admission in health science faculties such as MBBS and BDS in Government Medical Colleges under the MGIMS Wardha

MGIMS PMT Eligibility

You should have completed 17years of age

You must have qualified 12th level examination


Must be pass with Physics, English, Chemistry and Biology

You should have at least of 50% marks (

40% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ NT/ VJ/ OBC

The marks are taken together in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.


MGIMS PMT syllabus


Biology, Physics, Chemistry topics from 11th and 12th standard and Gandhian thoughts.

Questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be Objective type Multiple Choice questions.

While, questions asked in Gandhian Thoughts will be in the form of Theory or Subjective.

The exam is divided into 2 parts.

First part contains 180 questions equally from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and second part is based on Gandhian thoughts.

The time duration for both papers will be 3 hours individually. There is no negative Marking in the exam.

Way of application

An applicant could do the payment of Rs 4000/ with cash in person at the collection counter in the Administrative complex of MGIMS.
