Hi I would like to have the details about the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test which is held for admission to the engineering & medical programmes?

From the Academic year 2016-17 Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State conducts MHT CET 2016 Entrance Examination for Admission to BE Engineering/B.Technology, B.Pharmacy and Medical courses.

MHT CET 2016 Eligibility:-

Qualification for Engineering and Technology Courses:- All the applicants passed/showing up at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/twelfth Standard examination or its identical examination and having Indian Nationality are qualified for showing up for MHT-CET-2016 . There is no age limit for confirmation.

MHT CET 2016 Syllabus:-

Syllabi of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics for the MHT-CET-2016 will be the same with respect to the present year for HSC Examination (i.e March 2016) of HSC Board of Maharashtra.

Paper Pattern

MHT CET 2016 Pattern:-

The MHT-CET-2016 will comprise of three inquiry papers. Every paper is of 100 imprints.

Paper I Physics 50 1 50

Science 50 1 50

Paper II Biology (Botany) 50 1 50

Science (Zoology) 50 1 50

Paper III Mathematics 50 2 100

Time and term of Examination: There will be three papers of one and half hours each.

Part I :- Physics and Chemistry

an) Entry in examination corridor :- 09.15 a.m. - Long Bel

b) Distribution of answer sheets - 09.40 a.m.

c) Distribution of inquiry booklets - 09.50 a.m.

d) Examination begins - 10.00 a.m. - Long Bell

e) Last passage allowed in examination lobby (No applicant will be allowed after 10.00 a.m. under any circumstances Candidate ought to enter into examination corridor at 9.15 a.m. Competitor coming at 10.00 a.m will be dealt with as late by 45 minutes.) - 10.00 a.m.

f) Part I finishes up at Instruction:Candidates showing up for Biology (Part II) might keep on sitting for Part II, the individuals who are not showing up in Biology (Candidates at PCM Subject just) ought to leave the examination corridor in the wake of submitting inquiry booklet and OMR answer Sheet.- 11.30 a.m. - Long Bell

Part III :- Mathematics

an) Entry in examination Hall :- 02.15 p.m. - Long chime

b) Distribution of answer sheets - 02.40 p.m.

c) Distribution of inquiry booklets - 02.50 p.m.

d) Examination starts - 03.00 p.m. - Long Bell

e) Last section allowed in examination lobby (No hopeful will be allowed after 03.00 p.m. under any circumstances. Applicant ought to enter into examination lobby at 02.15 p.m. Hopeful coming at 03.00 p.m will be dealt with as late by 45 minutes.) - 03.00 p.m.

f) Part III finishes up at - 04.30 p.m. - Long Bell
