After the arrangement of Maharashtra State on May 1, 1960, the Government of Maharashtra constituted a "Leading group of Industrial Development" (BID) on October 1, 1960, under the Chairmanship of Shri. S. G. Barve, I.C.S.

Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is an undertaking of the administration of Maharashtra state in India and is the main partnership of Maharashtra. It furnishes organizations with base, for example, land (open plot or developed spaces), streets, water supply, seepage offices and road lights. Mr. Bhushan Gagrani, IAS, is the CEO of MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation).

• Set up mechanical territories for arranged and deliberate modern improvement

• To work as an exceptional arranging power being developed of mechanical zones

• "Flourishing to all through Industrialization" is the corporate theory of MIDC
