The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has at long last given its endorsement permitting nourishment preparing businesses to set up their units in Godavari Wine Park at Vinchur, around 60km from Nashik.

The MIDC is currently growing third period of Godavari Wine Park on the rest of the 50 hectares (125 sections of land).

The industrialists had asked state industries minister amid his visit to Nashik in May to permit nourishment handling businesses in Vinchur wine park because of accessibility of satisfactory land there. Desai had likewise guaranteed them to take a choice in such manner at the soonest.

President of Nashik District Industries and Exporters' Association, stated, "The state government had presented wine approach in 2001, which was unclear with just three pages as it were. Really, the wine approach ought to be upgraded after like clockwork. Be that as it may, the state government has not readied another arrangement even following 15 years.

"The MIDC's choice is better than average and will draw in nourishment handling businesses to set up their units there. There is enormous degree for businesses required in raisin and tomato handling, onion drying out, bean stew powder and grape juice among others," Pawar included.

According to the insights gave by the Nashik divisional office of the extract bureau of the state government, the region recorded wine offers of 2.04 lakh liters by August 31 amid the current monetary year, against 1.90 lakh liters amid the relating time frame in 2014-15.

Deals in August have expanded by 10% to 38,638 liters, as against the offer of 35,169 liters in August 2014-15. In 2014-15, the wine deals in the locale had expanded insignificantly to 5.08 lakh liters amid the budgetary year 2014-15 against 5.07 lakh liters amid 2013-14.
