The IP University is invited candidates for to get admission for Master in Mass Communication program. The GGSIP University is one of the first few institutions in the NCR to have launched master’s programme – both regular and weekend- during the last six years. The Master of Mass Media (MMM) is now known as the regular programme has been rechristened as the Master in Mass Communication (MMC) that offers the following specializations in the last two semesters: (i) Journalism and News Media, (ii) New Media & Convergence, (iii) Corporate Communication and (iv) TV Production The School plans to have the following specialization in near future (i) Broadcast Journalism, (ii) Print Journalism, (iii) Online Journalism, (iv) Advertising & Corporate Communication and (v) TV Production. Eligibility: Candidates should have graduation in Mass Communication. The percentage of marks required varies based on the institutes. M.M.C course curriculum First semester Basic Computer Application Introduction to Communication& Media Introduction to Socio-Economic Polity Media Language: Structure, Style & Translation Origin and Growth of Indian Media Practical and Comprehensive Second semester Communication for Development Multi Media & Cyber Communication Program Production Radio Programmes and Production Reporting and Editing for Newspaper Television and Video Third semester Advertising - Principles and Communication Communication Research Writing on Current Affairs Fourth semester Characteristics (One of Indian State) Corporate Communication & Media Management Dissertation Issues Oriented Writing Media Laws and Ethics Report Writing on Regional M.M.C Specializations: New Media and Communication Print Journalism Radio and Television M.M.C Projects The candidates can select the project topic from major areas like Broadcasting Development Support Communication Media Management On-Line/Cyber Media Print Media Public Relation and Advertising |
