please tell me that admission in Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) is based on RPET (Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test) examination? Please tell me about it because I want to do B Tech from Malaviya National Institute of Technology?

Yes you can get admission in Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur by fighting RPET exam and here I will get details for you.

Exam pattern
RPET is a single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in each sections ie Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total number of questions is 120.

The duration of Examination will be of 3 hours.

The questions in the question paper will be set in English as well as in Hindi.

For all objective type questions, one (1) mark will be awarded for every correct answer.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates are required to bring their own BLACK BALL POINT PEN ONLY (NOT GEL PEN) for answering the question paper.

They must not bring log tables, calculators, mobiles or any other objectionable materials with them in the examination hall.

Eligibility
Aspirant must be the domicile bearer of Rajasthan. He/she must have a valid domicile of Rajasthan as a proof of his/her residence.

Coming to the age criteria, the GEN/OBC candidates must possess age on or after 1 October, 1989 while the candidates of reserved category (SC/ST) should have the age on or after October 1, 1984.

The candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized board with an aggregate percentage of 45%. For reserved category, 40% will also be acceptable.

The candidate who is appearing for RPET 2016 should have Physics, Math’s and other optional subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science in 12th

Alwar, Ajmer, Banswara, Bharatpur, Barmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Hindaun City, Churu, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Pilani, Sirohi, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur and Udaipur.
