Diploma of Engineering-

A Monash College Diploma of Engineering provides a pathway into the second year of a Monash University engineering or information technology (IT) degree.

Part 1 of the course provides you with the Maths and science theory and practical skills required for university study.

In part 2, you will have the option to choose a specialisation or stream:

Engineering
IT

The stream you choose will depend on whether you want to study engineering or IT at university.

You will study subjects such as

Applied Mathematics
Computing for Engineers
Data Management
Computers and Networks

Entry requirements-

Part 1 Mathematics and Chemistry or Physics

Part 2 Engineering stream Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics

Part 2 IT stream Mathematics

Part 2 Engineering stream:

You must have studied Chemistry or Physics.
If you have studied only one of these subjects, you will need to study the other subject during your Diploma.

Part 2 IT stream:

You may need to complete a higher level mathematics unit as part of the Diploma for entry into the some courses offered by the faculty.

Part 2: 17 years

To be accepted into a Monash College Diploma, you must meet the academic and English language requirements.
