The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), Bhopal conducts the Pre Medical Test, Madhya Pradesh also known as MP PMT or PMT MP for admission in medical and science stream for undergraduate students.

On the basis of the PMT performance, the seats are also offered in Nursing and Pharmacy programs.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/ Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in government autonomous unaided private medical and dental colleges of Madhya Pradesh

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) and Animal Husbandry (A.H.)/B.F.Sc. in veterinary colleges and animal husbandry colleges under Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur


Eligibility Criteria

-The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

-The candidate should atleast be 17 years old as on or before 31 December, 2016.

-The candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary Examination from Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal or any other recognised board scoring a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and should pass individually in all the subjects including physics, chemistry and biology.

For the candidates belonging to the reserved class should score a minimum of 40% marks.


Paper Pattern
This exam consists of two papers

Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry
Paper 2: Biology
Each paper consists of objective type questions. Candidates are required to select the correct answer from the four options given for each question.
Both papers need to be completed within a duration of two hours.
There is no negative marking exam for the exam.
The medium of instruction for the exam is English.

-First counselling: by July 2016
