Can you tell me if Madhya Pradesh Pre- medical Test (MPPMT) is an online or offline exam for admission in MBBS/BDS Program in MP?

Application forms for MP-PMT exam were available both online and offline. Candidates could accept any one of the two modes for registration.

But now, Madhya Pradesh Pre- medical Test (MPPMT) is replaced by NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). And NEET is an offline pen and paper test.

Eligibility

(i) one who has completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age of the year of admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS course and is an Indian National.
(ii) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years of the year of the entrance examination.

NEET is an Entrance Test for selection of candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India under the control of DGHS, Govt. of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana.

Besides under 15% merit positions of All India Quota seats, the following States/
Universities/Institutions have also consented to use the merit list of NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS seats under their control:

The Question Paper of NEET shall be based on the syllabus as notified by the Medical council of India which is at Appendix-X of the Information

The NEET consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

The duration of NEET will be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m
