The MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission. This was formed by the Constitution of India, MPSC is a body that selects candidates for civil service jobs in the State of Maharashtra.

Every year, the Government of Maharashtra conducts MPSC exam through which it selects eligible candidates for jobs under its various departments like Administration, Police, Forest and Engineering.

The Maharashtra Engineering Service exam is a paper-pen based state engineering entrance examination directed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) for recruitment of Assistant Civil Engineer in Water Resource Department, Construction Department Water Supply and Health Department of the Government of Maharashtra.
