MRPL or Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd is a subsidiary of ONGC. It is a State of Art Grassroot Refinery in Dakshin Kannada region. It has got a versatile design with high flexibility to process Crudes of various API and with high degree of Automation.
It has a design capacity to process 15 million metric tons per annum and have 2 Hydrocrackers producing Premium Diesel (High Cetane) and has 2 CCRs producing Unleaded Petrol of High Octane.
It has won the “Export Excellence Award, 2014” in Best Exporter Award (Medium/large category) from the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for FY 2013-14.

It has won the first prize for outstanding performance in the area of Hindi Implementation for the year 2014-15 for fourth consecutive year by TOLIC, Mangalore.

It has granted the prestigious “Skoch Foundation Order –of-Merit Award” for the best project in the country.

It has won the Silver at “Niryat Shree Award -2014” in the residual sector of the MSME at FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organisation)
