The Utkal University is established for to providing M.Sc. in Environmental Science through Department of Botany.

This MSC course was establishment in 2000.

This is a Post Graduate program of Department of Botany. Duration of this course is Two Years.

Number of Seats: 16 (Sixteen)

Eligibility:
Candidates with Any Graduate from Science and Engineering streams

Selection Procedure:
Career (50%) + Entrance test (50%)

Course Fee:
Rs. 40,000/- per annum

Course Structure:

The course consists of four semesters: Three (03) Theory papers with unit-wise pattern and One (01) Practical paper per semester.

In Semesters I-III, the practical assignments are conducted along with theory classes. In Semester-IV, each of the Three Elective Papers consists of Two Theory papers and One Project-work based Dissertation-cum-Seminar presentation paper.

The course has a fully revised syllabus as per the UGC-NET Syllabus in the subject.
