IIT Chennai is invited candidates for IIT in chemistry. M. Sc The chemistry department at I.I.T. Madras has a two year M. Sc. program where students are offered courses and electives in inorganic, organic, physical and theoretical chemistry.

The M.Sc. program also enables students to join research labs of their choice in the department for a one year project, which gives them an opportunity to explore and enhance their research interests.

Admission to M.Sc. program - Entrance to the M.Sc. program is through the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM).

The entrance test is conducted every year in May.

Eligibility:

Candidates have Bachelors degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years/ six semesters & Mathematics as a subject at (10+2) level
