UPM-MTDC Technology Centre was established on November 16, 1996. It is a joint-venture project between Universiti Putra Malaysia and Malaysian Technology Development Corporation MTDC.

It is the first of a series of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation MTDC technology incubation centres established within a university’s campus in Malaysia

The Centre currently comprises three phases with a total built-up area of 141,964 sq ft.

Phase 1: 24,600 sq ft,
Phase 2: 79,424 sq ft
Phase 3: 37,940 sq ft.
