Courses and Enrolment

The Courses for Correspondence Study and examinations at B.A./B. Com. level were presented from 1971-72.

In the wake of picking up Confidence and to help the "Correspondence" understudies to further persue their reviews, post-graduate Courses viz M.A./M.Com./M.Sc. (Maths)/D.F.M. and D.O.R.M. were presented from the year 1975-76.

The IDE has now entered in the field of IT and Nautical Technology Courses by the separation mode.We have presented five IT courses (B.Sc.IT/Computer Science,M.Sc.IT/Computer Science and MCA ) and B.Sc.Nautical Technology course from the scholarly year 2005-2006

The IDE has begun the MA (Education ) course from 2006 - 2007.

The Institute is presently renamed as Institute of Distance and Open Learning with impact from thirteenth February 2009.

With this the Institute will be more Open and adaptable in its approach. It is likewise aiming to begin courses in the field of MMS, Bachelor of Preparatory Program (BPP), LLM, B.Ed at the appointed time of time for the advantage of the understudies.

Arrangement of Examination

Examinations are held every year for all courses. Learners who participate in June-August are permitted to show up for the Examination in March/April of the accompanying logbook year. Examinations are led at different focuses in Greater Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg areas as it were.

The Examinations are directed by Examination unit of I.D.E. for F.Y. and S.Y.B.A./B.Com. Courses and Examination Section of the University for T.Y.B.A./B.Com., M.A., M.Sc.(Maths), M.Com., P.G.D.F.M. and P.G.D.O.R.M. in the time of March-April/May.
