I want to apply for registration for Birth Certificate of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation so can you please provide me the details of registration?

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is a governing body of Visakhapatnam city. It was established on 21 November 2005. It is also a part of planning body of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority.

Registration for Birth Certificate

Every individual has the responsibility to inform any birth in their house to the Registrar of births and deaths.

Information may be given at GVMC Call Centre 1913.

This information should be submitted within 21 days of occurrence and a certificate of Birth on free of cost under section 12 of the Act will be sent.

A birth should be reported before 21 days. The event can be registered within one month on payment of late fee.

Obtain A Birth Certificate-

The individuals who require Birth certificates can do so at andy e-Seva Centre/City Civic Center at GVMC Main Office Campus.

The first copy costs Rs.25/- and every additional copy costs Rs.10/-
