Hey!!! M.Sc (Food Technology) course was started in the year 1964 as a part of International Food Technology Training Centre (IFTTC) in the prestigious R&D Institute - the Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysure.

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates holding bachelor degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or Agriculture/Engineering/Technology

Minimum Marks Requirement:

i) 55% in optional subjects of B.Sc pass course (50% for SC/ST category)

ii) 50% for B.Sc (Hons) course (45% for SC/ST category)

iii) Minimum second class for Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Engineering/ Technology



Selection Process

The marks scored in Bachelor’s degree and Entrance test are given 50% weightage each and selection is based on All India Merit with applicable reservation rules


Reservation:

For SC/ ST and students with physical disabilities - Applicable for admission to the course as per Govt orders in this regard

Candidates claiming reservation under specific category are required to provide attested documents as proof in support of their claims

(ii) 10th std marks card (Copy);

(iii) Attested photocopies of ALL semesters marks/ grade cards of qualifying exam

(iv) Date of birth certificate (Copy);

(v) Caste certificate (if applicable - Copy);

(vi) Parent/ Guardian’s latest income tax return filed or income proof (Copy)

(vii) Demand draft (Original)
