The Department of Microbiology of Mysore University was established in 1992. Department has been receiving financial assistance under DST-FIST programme to strengthen post graduate teaching and research. Department has a faculty strength of one professor, two associate professors and two assistant professors. Courses Offered- M.Sc. Duration - 2 years (4 semesters) Eligibility - B.Sc. passed Ph.D Eligibility - M.Sc.
