The Nainital Bank Limited was established in 1922 to cater banking needs of the people of the region. In the year 1973, Reserve Bank of India directed Bank of Baroda to manage its affairs.

It is having 123 branches operating in five states i.e. Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan.

All its branches are operating in CBS platform and is also providing RTGS, NEFT, SMS Alerts, ATM Card bearing RuPay and Mobile Banking facilities to its customers.

The total business of the Bank was Rs. 7,941 crore as on 31st March, 2015. Net NPA as percentage to Net Advances is at 0.00% (Zero level).
