The Nalanda dance academy University is situated at Vile Parle. The Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1973.

The college is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai 7 Assessed & accredited by National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) with ‘B++’ grade.
