Re: NATA Examination

For Architecture course a NATA test is preferred by candidates. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to first year of 5 year B.Arch Degree course at all recognized institutions all over the country.

The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability

Eligibility:
Candidates must qualified an aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch

Important Dates

Registration Start 21st January, 2016
Exam Start 1st April, 2016
Last Date of Exam 20th August, 2016
Last Date of Registration 18th August, 2016

Exam Pattern

The NATA exam will consist of two parts, i.e. part 1 will have paper based drawing test and part 2 will have computer based test.

The paper 1 will be of two hours and in that candidates are required to answer 2 questions.

In paper 2 the candidates have to answer 40 questions in total.
