Re: National Eligibility Test in Mathematics

CSIR-NET Exam is mandatory for candidates aspiring to teach in various degree colleges/ universities in all over India.

CSIR-UGC conducts JRF/NET exam twice a year in the month of June and December.

The exam will be conducted in different subjects like Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences & Life Sciences etc.

Syllabus for Mathematical Sciences for CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer-ship:

General Aptitude(GA):Common to all papers of Part A

Logical reasoning
Graphical analysis
Analytical and numerical analysis
Quantitative comparison
Series formation
Puzzle etc…

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality :

Candidate should be origin of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate should pass the Post Graduation from any recognized University.

Candidate required min 55% of marks in Post Graduation.

5% of marks relaxation for the SC\ST categories.

Age criteria details for JRF:-

The maximum age limit is 28 years and no minimum age limit.

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Age criteria for Lectureship:-

No age limits for Lectureship applying candidates.
