On your concern I will tell you about the seat allotment and eligibility criteria for BA LLB and LLM program in National Law University.


Here is the Eligibility and seat allotment criteria details for National Law University
BA LLB (Hons) - Five-Year Program

Eligibility:
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2015 can also apply

Age:
Below 21 years as on 01st July 2016 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates)

Total Seats:
80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]

Reservation:
15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities


LLM (One year)

Eligibility:

LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability); the candidates appearing in final LLB examination in April/May 2016 can also apply

Total Seats:
45+5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)

Reservation:

15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities

Here I’m telling you some tentative dates so that you can apply easily

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 1st week of April 2016

Admit Cards will be Available Online 2nd week of April 2016

Date for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET): 01st week of May 2016

Here is the exam pattern for the exam
The paper pattern of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for BA LLB is as given below.

Total Marks 150

Duration 1 hour 30 minutes

Questions and distribution

English 35 Marks

General Knowledge (Current Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, Civics) 35 Marks

Legal Aptitude 35 Marks

Reasoning 35 Marks

Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) 10 Marks

Total Questions 150

AILET pattern for LLM entrance exam is explained below.
Total Marks 150

Duration 90 Minutes

Subject areas Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law,
Constitutional Law and Legal Theory

Objective Type 100 questions of one mark each

Essay One Essay of 50 marks on a topic of law from the above subjects.

Total questions 100 (objective type) and 1 (Essay)
