Following divergence of the NSFDC, the existing National Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation is functioning completely for the development of the Scheduled Castes with effect from 10th April, 2001.

NSFDC is registered under Section-25 (a company not for profit) of the Companies Act, 1956.

As you want to apply for the NSFDC

Here is Eligibility

I. The beneficiary must be from Scheduled Caste community.

II. Annual family income of the beneficiary must not exceed double the poverty line income limit.(Not for all the schemes.)

III. Partnership firms/cooperative societies/any other form of legal association are eligible to undertake income generating activities subject to the following :

a) All the members must belong to SC community.

b) Annual family income of each member/applicant must not exceed double the scarcity line income limit.
