India has approx 45,000 petrol stations as of March 2012. Very nearly 16,000 of these have a place with Indian Oil (IOCL), 5,000 each to Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL). The Punjab condition of India has approx 700 number of Petrol Stations or Retail Outlets as talked about in authority dialect. The condition of Haryana has more than 500 Petrol Stations alone. A considerable measure of Auto LPG Stations and CNG stations has been arranged because of high unrefined costs.
