As you want to get the details of joining Merchant Navy after 10th so here is the information of the same for you: There are various jobs in the merchant navy starting from deck cadets to officer level jobs. Therefore what you need to do purely depends on what type of job would you prefer. Right now you have completed 10th standard. You will first need to complete 12th with PCM subjects. Then there are various options for you which I am mentioning below. Please read it out carefully before applying. Eligibility 1. Must have completed 12th with PCM from a recognized board. 2. Only unmarried candidates can apply for job in Merchant Navy. This rule applies to both man and woman. 3. You will have to pass medical test to be eligible for the job. Qualification 1. After 12th you should either pursue B.Sc in Nautical science or the Marine Engineering course. After completing any of these courses you will be eligible for various officer level posts in the navigational and engineering fields. Direct Entry 1. Those who have completed 10+2 can apply for deck cadet job in Merchant Navy. 2.
