Risk-share lenders were selected based on their ability to make loans at reasonable rates The combined borrowing capacity for the risk-share loan options below is $64,000 for the 2017-18 academic year ($62,000 for the 2016-17 academic year). Students are not responsible for making loan payments on risk-share loans while enrolled in at least 6 units or during the grace period. The grace period commences after graduation, or after dropping below 6 units. Borrowers of these risk-share loans are expected to maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA to be eligible for loan disbursement.
