| Nitin Sharma | Re: Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur India Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu, had its start as a Postgraduate Center of Sri Venkateswara University in the year 1967-68. It picked up independence in the year 1976. Satisfying the longings of the general population of the district, the Autonomous Postgraduate Center was concurred the status of a University in the year 1981. Beginning with only five bureaus of study and a hundred understudies, the University has now five schools on the grounds: SKU College of Arts, SKU College of Sciences, SKU College of Engineering and Technology, SKU College of Education, and SKU College of Pharmacy. SKU College of Arts has 13 Departments offering 18 PG courses other than one UG course. SKU College of Sciences has 16 Departments offering 19 PG courses. SKU College of Engineering and Technology, begun in 2006-07, offers M. Tech. in three branches and B. Tech. in five branches. SKU College of Education, begun in 2007-2008, offers M.Ed. also, B.Ed. programs. SKU College of Pharmacy, begun in 2008-2009, offers M. Drug store with three specializations and B. Drug store programs. Campus Arranged in rustic environs in a grounds of more than 500 sections of land (2.0 km2) of land, the college incorporates a University Science Instrumentation Center, a Computer Center, a Health Center, an exercise room, an outside stadium, an assembly hall and space to suit bureaus of studies, research facilities, inns, and lodging for the staff.
