1. Why is it important to learn about services marketing, service quality, and service management? Explain
2. Explain Why? The inattention of the service sector can be found in several myths surrounding services since the mid-1800s. A myth is a popular belief, usually oversimplified, that tends to explain only part of the phenomena.
3. How can new services be designed and tested effectively when the service is essentially an intangible process? Explain
4. Explain Why? Investors today want executives to demonstrate that their companies can make money and grow, the old-fashioned way by earning it from the value proposition they offer customers.
5. Do we need additional skill sets besides marketing, operations, and human resources? Explain.
6. Explain factors that influence customer expectations of service.

Elective — Services Marketing Management

Create a multi-level strategic plan to help an industry (your choice) generate, track, capture and distribute more leads.

7. A Marketing Plan to build that show spending and starts needed to hit goal.
8. Calls to measure the effectiveness of all marketing and advertising efforts.
9. Internet spending in order to create better media mixes
10. Unique URLs along with micro sites added to all traditional media creative to enhance the tracking process.
11. Internet campaigns to generate more immediate response rather than taking a more brand-oriented approach.
12. Monthly reporting on Marketing to ensure expectations are being met.
13. Consistently to ensure integrity resulting in an increase in results, lower cost
14. Communication with media and vendors.
