Re: Nid D'oeuf Recipe

The recipe for the Nid D'oeuf which is also known as Egg in a nest and is one of the best breakfast options is as mentioned below.

INGREDIENTS

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 glass ground Gruyere cheddar

Sprinkle of cream of tartar....not vital. It settles the whipped whites.

Technique

1 Preheat the broiler to 450°F with a rack in the center. Line a simmering dish, or preparing sheet that can take high temperatures without distorting, with material paper or Silpat. You can utilize a Silpat sheet redundant, use material paper and you simply hurl it...NO tidy up!

2 Separate whites from yolk. Ensure there are no little bits of egg yolk in the whites or you will experience issues getting the whites to beat legitimately. It helps in the event that you are making more than one egg home to keep every egg yolk in a different prep dish. put every one of them in the same dish. 2 of 4 yolk broke. It STILL tasted incredible.

3 Place the egg whites in a spotless blender bowl (any remaining oil in the blender dish will keep the egg whites from throwing together legitimately). Include a quarter teaspoon of salt to the egg whites. Beat the egg whites with a whisk connection in a blender (or utilizing a hand blender), beginning on low speed and afterward gradually expanding to fast, until solid tops structure. Include the cream of tartar here as well.

4 Gently crease in the ground Gruyere cheddar, taking consideration not to collapse the egg whites.

5 Create two hills of the egg white blend on the lined preparing sheet. Structure the hills so they look like homes, with spaces in the focuses.

6 Place in the stove for 3 minutes. Following 3 minutes, open the broiler, haul out the rack with the egg white homes, and delicately add an egg yolk to the focal point of every home. Return the heating sheet to the stove and cook for 3 more minutes.

7 While blending the egg whites keeping in mind the broiler was warming up had some left over baked good outside layer from prior so thought.....WHY NOT utilize this. Took it out and off the Silpat before making the homes.

Serve quickly.
