National Institute of Design (NID) conducts entrance examination to qualify eligible students for Post Graduate Diploma Program in Design.

30 years of age (relax able by three years for reserved category)

Educational Qualification

Candidate must either have appeared or passed, or will be appearing in any of the following examination:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
or
Diploma in Design under the 10+2+4 system


Registration Fees in NID PGDPD :
1500/- if they belong to General category,
750/- if they belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PD

NID PGDPD Entrance exam pattern :

Design Aptitude Test (DAT) seeks evidence of Knowledge, Comprehension, Analysis, Reasoning, Problem Solving and Creativity in the applicant.

There will be ONE question paper of 3 hours duration.

The question paper will be in English.

The question paper will carry a total of 100 marks, out of which Section A carrying 70 marks

Section B carrying 30 marks will be of subjective type questions.

All questions are compulsory.

There will be no negative marking.

Total: 70 marks
Multiple choice objective type questions varying from 0.5 marks to 4 marks each.

Section B
Total: 30 marks
Subjective Type questions
Problem solving and Creativity based questions .
