NILM University is Haryana State’s First Private University outside the area of National Capital Region of Delhi. It is also the First Private University to be set up in a Rural Area where international courses are taught to students. The University has been established by the Haryana State Legislature under the 'The Haryana Universities (Amendment) Bill 2011'. Its foundation stone was laid on 24th December, 2010.
