National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is created as a center of excellence for higher training, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences and technology and its first institute of this kind in the country.

NIPER JEE is a national level entrance examination which is required to take admission in institutes offering post graduate programs like MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm) and MBA (Pharm).
