NIPER Joint Entrance Exam is a national level entrance examination which is required to take admission in institutes offering post graduate programs like PhD, MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm) and MBA (Pharm)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have done the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in respective discipline according to the course for which he/ she wants to apply
.
• The applicant must have at least 60% or 6.75 GPA (55% or 6.25 for SC /ST candidates & 50% or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

• He / She must have the valid GATE or NET or GPAT score. Those who are in final year can also apply for the same.

Examination Pattern

There are 200 questions in 2 hours.
• Questions will be very easy so no need to go in depth of the topic.
• Basic concepts based questions are asked. M. Pharma branches and M.B.A. has a common entrance paper. So read some general knowledge aspects also.
• This syllabus is just like GATE entrance but more specific in Basic Chemistry instead of medicinal chemistry.

Dates of the NIPHER JEE Exam

The online application starts from 1st week of June 2017
• The last date to fill the application form will be by last week of June 2017
• Admit card will be provided a week prior to the examination
• Entrance examination will be conducted by 2nd week of July 2017
• Results will be declared by last week of July 2017
• Counselling process will start by 1st week of August 2017
