NIPER Joint Entrance Exam is a national level entrance examination which is required to take admission in institutes offering post graduate programs like PhD, MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm) and MBA (Pharm).

This is a common entrance exam for all the programmes, which is conducted in a number of cities across India.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

-Candidate must have done the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in respective discipline according to the course for which he/ she wants to apply.

-The applicant must have at least 60% or 6.75 GPA (55% or 6.25 for SC /ST candidates & 50% or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

-He / She must have the valid GATE or NET or GPAT score. Those who are in final year can also apply for the same.

Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should be more than 20 years to apply for NIPER Joint Entrance Exam.


Exam Pattern

-There are 200 questions in 2 hours.

-Questions will be very easy so no need to go in depth of the topic.

-Basic concepts based questions are asked. M. Pharma branches and M.B.A. has a common entrance paper.

Important Dates:

-The online application starts from 1st week of June 2016

-The last date to fill the application form will be by last week of June 2016

-Admit card will be provided a week prior to the examination

-Entrance examination will be conducted by 2nd week of July 2016

-Results will be declared by last week of July 2016

-Counselling process will start by 1st week of August 2016
